What it feels like
Neem Homes is an owner-run PG in Wazidpur, Sector 135, a short drive from the offices along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway. It has single, double and triple rooms, each with an attached washroom, and the family that owns it runs it day to day.
Vegetarian meals are cooked in-house: breakfast and dinner every day, with lunch added on weekends. Food comes up more than anything else in its Google reviews, along with a helpful owner and staff and clean, spacious rooms. WiFi, a cooler, the washing machine, a shared fridge and RO drinking water are included. AC rooms cost ₹1,000 a month extra, and electricity is billed on what you use.
Rent is ₹15,000 for a single room, ₹9,500 per bed in a double and ₹8,000 per bed in a triple, with a deposit of a third of a month's rent and 15 days' notice. The trade-offs: there is no lift, power backup covers fans and lights only, parking is for bikes, rooms are cleaned weekly, and the nearest metro, Sector 137, is about 4 km by road.
